San Gabriel National Monument Artist Residency

From June 18-July 2, 2017, Tara and David Gladden were Artists in Residence at the San Gabriel National Monument in the Angeles Mountains in California, where they worked on the third installment of their serial audio/visual performance project, SIGHTsite|HEARhere.  They were provided with a free cabin at 6500 feet elevation for the duration of the residency.  They did public performances in nature, shot video for source material, and took photo documentation.  Since they have returned from the residency, Tara and David have created several performance art videos that they have used to apply to show in art galleries.  Note: The selection process for the artist’s residency at the San Gabriel National Monument was a competitive process, international in scope.
