In the Spring 2015 semester, New Media and Glass students at Salisbury University collaborated to make an installation in the Electronic Gallery.  Students studied Claire Bishop's Installation Art text book and then collaboratively decided how to create a fully immersive installation of their own.  Glass students blew glass, making clear cane and plates that New Media students used to pass light and/or project through. Plates were hung by fishing line from the pipe grid of the ceiling and allowed to  rotate freely in space, much like a mobile.  Three projectors also hung from the ceiling and played abstract colorful video that was distorted as it passed through the clear plates.  The glass rod was attached to the wall in bold linear strokes and backlit by LED lights.  Drone music composed by the New Media students completed the installaion.  Many visitors reported that the installation was a calming and invigorating experience.
